Burak Emre ÇETİN provides advice to a wide range of clients on data privacy and IT law. With extensive experience in EU and Turkish data protection regulations, particularly GDPR and KVKK (the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law), he bridges the gap between technology and law to ensure organizations perform while remaining compliant. Before joining ACTECON, Mr. ÇETİN worked in a senior role at a leading tech company and at prestigious law firms, where he played a pivotal role in expanding data protection programs and ensuring compliance with evolving global privacy regulations.
At ACTECON, Mr. ÇETİN advises Turkish and multinational companies on data protection, privacy compliance, and regulatory issues. He has a strong track record in developing and implementing training modules on data privacy, drafting key data protection documents, and coordinating with regulatory authorities. His expertise also extends to handling DSARs, conducting DPIAs, providing strategic advice on international privacy standards, and leading data protection compliance projects through all stages.
