ACTECON is happy to announce that Caner K. Çeşit and Mustafa Ayna were promoted to Counsel, effective as of January 2, 2023.

Caner K. Çeşit, who joined the firm in 2020, provides legal advice on all matters of competition law. He is particularly experienced in merger control issues related to both domestic and cross-border transactions, in representing clients in Turkish Competition Authority's high-profile investigations, and in judicial review proceedings initiated against the decisions of the Turkish Competition Authority. Caner is also competent in competition compliance programmes and negative clearance / exemption proceedings.
 
Mustafa Ayna joined ACTECON as a legal intern following his graduation and has been with the firm for the past 6.5 years. He has notable experience in competition law and regulatory projects. Mustafa represents clients in investigations initiated by the Turkish Competition Authority and in merger control processes. He also leads compliance programmes, provides legal advice on negative clearance / individual exemption applications and on judicial review of administrative actions.
